The Volkswagen Virtus GT Matte Edition will be launched in India next month
Volkswagen has unveiled a stunning new matte gray carbon steel exterior paint option for its special limited edition Virtus GT Edge range.
The automaker is all set to announce the official pricing in October 2023. Previously, the limited GT Edge Plus range was only available in the shade Deep Black Pearl, but now it undergoes a bold makeover with this aggressive glossy colour.
Furthermore, Volkswagen has already started accepting online bookings for these matte versions since September 11, and deliveries are scheduled to hit the roads next month. Furthermore, Volkswagen confirms that delivery times are estimated at a minimum of six weeks, all on a first-come, first-served basis. Safety is a top priority in Volkswagen’s design, and the Virtus has a 5-star global safety rating from NCAP. The safety package includes up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, and a tire pressure monitor, among other advanced features.
Volkswagen Virtus GT Matte Edition: engine specifications
Under the hood, the Virtus GT is powered by a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 150 PS and peak torque of 250 Nm. The transmission duty is taken care of by a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox.
Fuel efficiency figures are equally impressive, with the 7-speed DSG averaging 19.6 kilometers per liter and the manual version 18.8 kilometers per litre.

Special editions of both the Taigun mid-size SUV and the Virtus have been introduced to captivate Indian car enthusiasts.
