Russell Brand’s night with Kate Moss — and his disbelief the next morning

In his second autobiography, My Booky Wook 2, Russell Brand talked about his night with supermodel Kate Moss, who apparently became interested in comic books after seeing him on The Jonathan Ross Show.

The pair were reportedly linked in 2006

Comedian and TV presenter Russell Brand has long been known for flaunting his various lovers, with the comedian hitting on a number of famous women, including model Kate Moss. In his second autobiography, My Booky Wook 2, Brand talked about spending the night with Moss, whom he allegedly became interested in after he appeared on

According to Brand, they were first linked via his friend Sadie Frost, who brought Moss with him to see his gig at the Hen and Chickens in Highbury Corner, Islington. He went on to recall the “quiet explosion of her perfection,” describing the encounter as “like meeting an angel of my own creation.” After completing his collection, Brand says “the goddess” Moss invited him to a charity auction at Annabelle’s, an upscale nightclub in London popular with the rich and famous. After an evening at the glamorous club, the group returned to Frost’s home in Belsize Park, where Brand and Moss reportedly flirted for a while, before strolling in together to kiss.

“In the end there’s no longer a world between our lips and so we kiss, and yes, on some level, I’m enjoying the kiss, but my mind is screaming, screaming, body-popping, lambada, every dance craziness that ever existed,” Brand recalls, recounting the kiss in florid detail. Playground fads are revisited: yo-yos, hoops, pooches, the works, and every exciting moment of childhood condensed into one kiss.

Eventually, Brand asked Moss if she wanted to go back to his house in Gossip Oak, and the two hopped into a minibus together. Brand recalled making Moss a cup of tea, and being amazed that his pet cat didn’t realize how “mysterious and wonderful” she was. Observing, “Her presence in my house is inconsequential, a bewildering amalgamation of the real and the imagined,” Brand likened Moss’s presence in his home to “looking out into the garden and seeing Vegas Elvis mowing the lawn.” “.

The next morning, Brand had to get up and film sketches for his MTV 1 talk show Leicester Square, and says he initially didn’t trust his own memories that he had just spent the night with Moss. “I open only one eye at first,” Brand wrote, “because the transmission of my mind seems so unlikely, but one eye is enough, because brighter than the daylight that floods through the curtains that I had to replace because they were too short, is the raging dawn.” Kate Sleeping moose, the illumination that fights the dawn – the sun disappears behind a cloud, afraid of its own radiance. Her hair flutters across the pillow like a peacock’s tail.”

He continued: “I opened the other eye. Kate Moss is already in bed, and for a minute I felt like I killed her. Oh my God, what have I done? Don’t panic, don’t panic.” “I rose and fell like a butler on his first day with the Queen, not daring to turn away from her for a moment. Like a drunk cartoon, I rub my eyes and look at my bottle – it’s just mouthwash. It’s definitely Kate Moss. Not Listerine.”

It was previously reported that Brand and Moss were briefly romantically linked in 2006, at a time when the fashion icon was still on the hook for Babyshambles singer Pete Doherty. It comes after four women made allegations against Brand in a joint investigation by The Times and Channel 4 Dispatch. These alleged incidents include accusations of rape, sexual assault, and emotional abuse between 2006 and 2013. Shortly before the accusations were published, Brand uploaded a video clip to YouTube in which he denied the “criminal” accusations against him, indicating that his sexual relations had always been consensual.

“These allegations relate to the time when I was working in mainstream media, when I was in newspapers all the time, and when I was in movies,” Brand said in his statement, which can be read in full here. “And as I have written about extensively in my books, I was Very illegal. Now, during that time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were always consensual. I was always transparent about that.

“Then it was very transparent, and now I’m transparent about that as well. And to see that transparency turn into something criminal that I completely deny makes me wonder, is there another agenda at play? Especially when we’ve seen media orchestrated attacks before, like with Joe Rogan, when He dared to take a drug that was not approved by the mainstream media, and we saw a flurry of headlines from media outlets around the world using the same language.
