After more than three years of bouncing on and off the market, energy drink mogul Ross Weiner has finally unloaded his Beverly Park mansion, one of two lavish properties he owns in the famously expensive and star-studded gated community. The 1.2-acre property was sold for exactly $25 million to local entrepreneur Tony Savoyan, CEO of Google Cloud-focused technology consulting firm SADA Systems, and his longtime wife, Lana.
Built in 1999 for a deceased Russian businessman and designed by renowned architect Richard Landry, the Tuscan-style mansion is set behind gates and tall hedges. With 10,575 square feet of living space in the main house, plus a separate guest house, this resort-like venue has enough space for large parties and events.
Weiner, 53, bought the home in 2015 for $18.6 million. With short interruptions, the essentially unchanged property has been on the market since early 2020, with asking prices ranging from $35 million to a minimum of $27.9 million. When Savoyan finally called, the house was listed at $30 million.
In addition to the eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, interior features include a grand foyer with double staircases and limestone floors throughout, gymnasium with attached sauna and massage room, chef’s kitchen with commercial appliances, and mahogany library with walkway. safe. Upstairs, the master retreat itself is the size of a mini-home, with a spa-style bathroom, double closets, private office, private balcony, and a “hidden” spiral staircase that leads to the library, according to the listing.
Outdoors, the grounds include two expansive lawns, one made of AstroTurf and the other with real grass. There are also paths lined with manicured boxwoods and bright clusters of bougainvillea and olive trees. Outdoor entertaining is made easy with the covered loggia dining area and poolside outdoor kitchen with outdoor fireplace, wet bar and built-in BBQ center.
Savoyan, 45, co-founded SADA Systems in 2000. In 2021, the North Hollywood-based technology company’s revenues crossed $1 billion for the first time; Last year, it signed a $2.5 billion partnership agreement with Google. Since 2015, Savoyane has owned and occupied a two-story home in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood.
As for Weiner, he now resides primarily in Florida but still owns a mansion in Park City, Utah, as well as another home in Beverly Park that he has owned since 2007 and an investment property in Hollywood Hills.
Long reputed to be the most expensive gated community in Los Angeles, Beverly Park boasts a number of notable residents behind its heavily guarded gates. And while the turnover has been significant in recent years, Hollywood personalities such as Eddie Murphy, Denzel Washington, Sofia Vergara, Adele, The Rock and Rod Stewart still call this enclave their home.
