RHOC star Shannon Beador ‘charged with hit-and-run and drunk driving after crash at home’
Shannon Beador of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Orange County was arrested after crashing into a house while driving drunk in Newport Beach, California and has been charged with two misdemeanors.
Real Housewives of Orange County main cast member Shannon Beador has reportedly been charged with drunk driving after crashing into a home in Newport Beach, California.
The reality TV star allegedly drove her car onto a residential property in Southern California before crashing into the house slightly and then getting back on the road, according to police. She allegedly parked her car in the middle of the street, got out with her dog, and pretended to be walking when police responded to the 911 call.
At present, there is no information on who contacted law enforcement, and the exact damage to the home remains unclear.

A representative for the Newport Beach Police Department told TMZ that Shannon is charged with two misdemeanors — hit and run and driving under the influence. She was reportedly released without bail and was not filmed for the next season of Real Housewives, so live footage will likely not appear on the Bravo reality show.
Shannon has been on the Real Housewives series for nine years, joining the cast for season nine in 2014. The final season, No. 17, premiered in June of this year and episodes are still premiering.
This season, the Housewives include Shannon, Emily Simpson, Tamra Judge, Heather Dubrow, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Jennifer Pedrante. One of the season’s “friends” is Taylor Armstrong, who appeared as a main cast member on the first three seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Her appearance on Real Housewives of Orange Country made her the first American housewife to move to another franchise.
The 59-year-old has had a difficult year. In January, she addressed her split from her boyfriend of three-and-a-half years, Jon Janssen. She told People magazine that she was “shocked” that John broke up with her weeks after filming the final season of Real Housewives. “He told me he was done with the relationship,” she said. “And hearing what he told me then was very devastating.”
