Sunday 29 October

11:26 p.m. – Deputies responded to the Warren Township scene for a single-vehicle crash. A car went off the road and fell into a ditch. The car was recovered without any damage.

8:49 p.m. – Deputies responded to a Geneva Township location for a vehicle fire. Upon their arrival, the fire was extinguished.

6:56 p.m. – Officers responded to the 600 block of Hemlock Street for obstruction of justice.

1:46 PM – Deputies responded to a Sanford residence, where a 41-year-old woman reported an unknown person broke into her garage. It doesn’t appear that anything was stolen. About $50 worth of damage was done to the door frame.

1:42 PM – A deputy assisted Saginaw Police by locating a new phone number for a Jasper Township subject who Saginaw Police were trying to reach.

1:08 PM – A deputy conducts a traffic stop for several violations in the city of Midland. A 31-year-old Belleville man was driving on a suspended license. A report on the incident was prepared for the Public Prosecution to review the charges.

8:22 p.m. – Deputies responded to a Warren Township residence for contact with a 25-year-old woman in reference to a civilian standby. The woman was able to collect her belongings and did not request further assistance.

6:17 p.m. – Officers responded to a crash with personal injury in the 600 block of East Ashman.

2:49 p.m. – Officers responded to Baldwin Street at Kim Court for a property crash.

2:32 p.m. – Officers responded to an animal bite in the 2400 block of Sweden.

1:36 p.m. – Deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident in Midland Township.

11:32 a.m. – A woman called a deputy about a debit card she found on the floor at an ATM in Lincoln Township. The 90-year-old owner was contacted and her debit card was returned.

11:26 a.m. – Officers responded to Jefferson at Go Man for a crash on the property.

8:23 a.m. – A deputy responded to speak with a 60-year-old man in Hope Township regarding ongoing issues with his neighbors, the property line, and trespassing.

4:33 a.m. – Officers responded to the 100 block of Eastlawn for a heroin overdose.

2:05 a.m. – Officers issued an arrest warrant in the area of ​​Jerome and West Main.

1:18 a.m. – Officers responded to driving with a suspended license in the West Indian and Jerome area.

12:04 a.m. – A passerby reported a vehicle in the ditch on Waldo Road. Deputies contacted a 36-year-old woman who swerved too sharply into her driveway and got her car stuck in the ditch. The woman was able to get her car out of the ditch. no damage.

Friday 27 October

10:30 p.m. – Officers responded to the 6700 block of Eastman for a report of stolen property.

9:37 p.m. – Deputies responded to a Warren Township residence for a verbal dispute between a 25-year-old man and his 25-year-old girlfriend. No assault occurred. The man was found violating his parole bond out of Gladwin County. He was arrested and booked into the Midland County Jail.

9:08 p.m. – A deputy responded to a Larkin Township home for an investigation into the death of a 94-year-old man. There were no signs of crime.

7:07 p.m. – A deputy was notified of an abandoned vehicle on state land in Mills Township. The vehicle has been identified and has not been reported stolen. This information has been turned over to the DNR for further investigation.

5:09 p.m. – A deputy was dispatched to meet Bay County authorities to pick up a 29-year-old woman arrested for a misdemeanor violation warrant out of the 75th District Court. The woman was transported to the Midland County Jail.

3:46 p.m. – Officers responded to a crash at Eastman and North Saginaw.

3:39 PM – Deputies were dispatched to Lee Township for a report of hearing gunshots near some homes. They found a 37-year-old man who was watching his hunting rifle in a heavily wooded area behind his home. The man was determined to play it safe.

12:37 PM – Officers responded to the 500 block of State Street to complete a mental solicitation.

12:01 p.m. – A deputy responded to the area of ​​the Edenville Freeway in an attempt to intercept two vehicles that were reportedly racing at high rates of speed. Plate information not obtained. The deputy did not specify the location of the vehicles.

11:52 a.m. – A deputy spoke with a 21-year-old woman regarding a child custody dispute. She said her 19-year-old ex-boyfriend refused to return her child to her, and there was a friend of the court order. The deputy contacted the man and delivered the child to the mother without incident.
