Kelly Ripa’s First Apartment With Mark Consuelos is a Far cry from Their $27 Million Townhome — See Inside

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have an enviable real estate portfolio with lavish homes in New York, the Hamptons, Colorado, and the Caribbean.

But before they got married, the couple called a more modest apartment their home.

Mark recently took a walk down memory lane and gave fans a tour — which you can watch below — of the pad they shared in the Big Apple.

Mark marveled at how, over the years, the owners had overhauled the two-bedroom property, adding new walls, a kitchen and a brand new bathroom too.

He fondly remembers the bedroom that would become a nursery for their son Michael, 26, who was welcomed during their stay there.

the Riverdale The actor was amazed by the view and showed off the spacious courtyard that still contains the satellite that he installed himself.

While the apartment is far from modest, and likely expensive, it pales in comparison to the house they now live in in New York.

Their primary residence is their $27 million townhouse on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. It’s ideally located so Kelly and Mark can come home from work sometimes.

The 7,796-square-foot property has five bedrooms and six bathrooms It was said to have been completely renovated before Mark and Kelly bought it in 2013.

Instead of a lavish wedding, the couple eloped to Las Vegas. “We had a very normal, very regular wedding.” She told her former Live! Co-hosted by Ryan Seacrest.

“It’s a really effective way to get married. And it was fun. We were like, ‘Now, this is a gamble!’ Oh, my God!””

They traveled from New York to Sin City because they wanted to tie the knot somewhere warm.

She told the audience: “It was 1996, guys. Do you remember the winter of 1996? The winter of 1996 is in the record books as the most miserable.” “It was an endless winter, and it was a blizzard when we left.”

Remarkably, they were able to get married for less than $200. “$179 for wedding, including airfare.” She said. “Because we had miles and we had a canceled flight or something. But $179 total.”

However, she had to spend more money for her wedding dress. “I just bought it because it was really pretty,” Kelly said of the outfit, which she wore again to celebrate her 20th wedding anniversary, admitting that it has now become a beach cover-up.

“I wanted to buy something from Barney’s warehouse sale.”

I was working on All My Children and wasn’t making much money. It was $199 on the final clearance sale, and I was like, “Am I eating this week or am I going to wear this dress?”

Kelly and Mark have three children, Joaquin (20 years old), Lola (22 years old), and Michael.
