Gwyneth Paltrow’s lifestyle hub, Goop, is celebrating its 15th birthday, and it’s celebrating in the most Goop way possible: with a new villa on Palm Beach.
The Gwyneth brand has teamed up with The Colony Hotel, also known as the most stylish hangout in Palm Beach, Florida, to create a two-bedroom villa that exudes “quiet luxury” and is now officially taking reservations. However, after taking a look around the property, we warn that it can be very difficult to leave.
“We wanted to create a really beautiful, unique space that our community could come to and really feel the goopy aesthetic,” Gwyneth says on the Goop blog. To do this, she enlisted the expertise of New York design firm Ronen Lev to create a comfortable and undeniably elegant space that pays homage to her brand.
Why Palm Beach? Gwyneth grew up visiting Palm Beach with her family, which means it holds special meaning for the health and wellness guru. She notes how she got decorating ideas from her travels and a Pinterest board titled “Future Renovations.”
“I love a space that feels like it’s been there a long time, with vintage source materials, millwork, moldings, and great proportions,” Gwyneth explains. “And then I like things to look more contemporary, clean and feminine.”
We owe a lot of this aesthetic to Gwyneth’s furniture choices, including the “gorgeous sofa” from the Invisible Collection, the antique coffee table, and the Cartier trays that adorn the living room.
It’s no secret that Gwyneth is a fan of Monogram appliances since she’s been known to cook on them at her home in Montecito. Therefore, it is not surprising that it is also found in the villa’s kitchen. “I’m obsessed with my Monogram collection, so we had to have one here,” she says.
The master bathroom leads to the bedrooms, including the gold-toned master suite, when Goop actually comes into play. We equipped them with Brizo taps. Naturally, you’ll get your bathroom filled with amazing sticky products when you check in, too.
There is also a loft space, described as the ideal place to work from home, but we of course discourage any such activity while on holiday. Here, we see the Re-Jute rug, the result of Goop’s collaboration with Ruggable, which we’re rushing to bring into our homes in ways beyond our lofts.
Palazzo Soft Navy Re-Jute Rug
Inspired by the harlequin floors in Italian luxury buildings, this geometric rug (in midnight blue on a warm beige background) is the Gwyneth-approved statement piece we’ve been looking for.
Goop villa reservations are now available through The Colony Hotel, and what can we say, except we’re racing to plan our next Florida vacation à la Gwyneth Paltrow.
