I purchased a custom tiny house for $20,000, and this space saving technique allows me to have an additional dual-purpose room
With the growing popularity of tiny homes, one person created his dream home for just $20,000.
Tiny homes are springing up all over the United States, as Americans look for any way to increase the value of their dollar.

While a traditional housing unit can cost upwards of $300,000, many tiny house gurus have built their tiny homes for a cost of between $10,000 and $100,000.
One man bought his unique little space for just $20,000, and it offers everything he could ever imagine in a home.
On the Incredible Tiny Homes YouTube channel, Randy Jones shared how he created his home using several space-saving techniques.
He calls it the “Incredi Fund” and includes water, electricity, heat and more.

With a full kitchen, living space and bedroom, it offers everything a single person or couple could ask for in their home.
When you have a house this size, you have to get a little creative.
This means looking for extra storage space anywhere you can find it.
Randy is also able to create a “bonus” room that contains a Murphy bed and several dual-purpose surfaces, he said.
The Murphy Bed clears up your bedroom space by attaching the mattress to a hole in the wall with metal frames and springs.
The entire space is also built on wheels, making it easy to move the home space anywhere you want.
More tiny houses
If you are interested in creating your own tiny house, there are many different stores that you should visit first.
This includes outdoor stores Lowe’s and The Home Depot, but Amazon also has several units for sale.
Amazon sells the shed for just $3,350, and many shoppers have been able to turn the unit into a tiny home.
The unit is called Windemere and is made by the Handy Home Products brand.
If you purchase the product, you will get free delivery within 2-3 weeks.
It is also delivered ready to assemble.
For a slightly higher price, you can purchase an insulated tiny house from Amazon.
The 19 x 10 square foot home is priced at $7,679 and ships within 10 days.
Small household tips
Although tiny homes generally save money on upfront costs and rent, you’ll often need to be the one responsible for finding and building your unit.
The most common type of unit is either a shed or an RV, both of which have pros and cons.
While RVs give you the flexibility to travel wherever you want, some city laws require you to park in certain spots only for a short period of time.
Sheds also require knowledge of the zoning laws in your state and county, as you typically won’t be able to fully live in a shed on someone else’s home property.
Keep in mind that you will also be responsible for adding all required plumbing and electrical services.
You also need to make sure you have space to put your tiny house.
This means you will likely need to look for land to rent.
Spaces are routinely put up for auction on sites like Facebook Marketplace, or you can apply for land in a tiny home community.

Another couple pays just $200 each month for their tiny house and lives on the water.
The family of four also revealed how they are living in a tiny house for just $100,000 in a neighborhood where homes cost $800,000.
