Custom-built Beverly Hills mansion gets $45 million price tag – Robb Report

When Max Noble of Noble in Los Angeles set out to design a modern barn-style mansion in Beverly Hills, he and his partners settled on a two-acre hillside property in the upper reaches of Benedict Canyon, about 3.5 miles north of Benedict Canyon. Beverly Hills Hotel.

Recently completed, featuring designer furnishings and contemporary artwork, and on the market for $44.8 million, Noble’s vision combines state-of-the-art fixtures and fittings with expert craftsmanship and a curated collection of organic elements. A cantilever snack bar adds an exclamation point to the bold design, while a hidden door conceals an all-stainless steel catering kitchen that’s useful for hosting large events and preparing messy recipes. Nearby, floor-to-ceiling windows line a cozy dining space, and the family room has a gray flannel marble fireplace flanked by light-filled bookshelves. A combined screening/game lounge is located in the basement, along with a three-car garage and a spacious guest or staff suite with outdoor access.

In total, there are seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms spread across 16,390 square feet. No bedroom is standard or the same. A sprawling guest suite on the main floor offers a spacious lounge, office area and two walk-in closets for overnight accommodation, while one of the three guest or family bedrooms upstairs is a double with a raised lounge and adjoining office.

The master suite occupies its own suite upstairs with an asymmetrical copper-and-marble fireplace, soaring cathedral ceiling, and two boutique-like dressing areas lined with elegant glass cabinets. The bathroom includes an amber-coloured resin bathtub and a chunky marble island that includes a double vanity, free-standing mirrors and a vanity.

The back of the house opens onto a flat grassy yard dug into the hillside. Another tree-shaded area off the kitchen and family room has an outdoor dining terrace, outdoor grill, and outdoor fireplace. At the front of the house are large porches, a pair of fire pits, and a grand staircase that descends to a 60-foot negative-edge pool, surrounded by an emerald carpet of manicured lawn.
