If we could invite ourselves to any dinner party this holiday season, it would certainly be the newest girl in Manhattan, Brynn Whitfield. However, while we can’t all sit in her West Village apartment, we can settle for the next best thing and take her hosting tips into our own home.
The RHONY personality has teamed up with CB2 to celebrate the beginning of the most social point on the calendar in the best possible way — and with the partnership comes a list of her own hosting rules that will set our parties aside. But what is the secret to an unforgettable night?
“While a great playlist, flowing cocktails, and plenty of food are mission-critical for an unforgettable party, the most important thing is being there — warm and welcoming. “Energy is really everything,” Brin comments in an interview with H&G. However, making place cards is the most simple and impactful step we can take to ensure our tablescape is “perfect.”

“Place cards are a must,” she says. Carefully placed handwritten place cards – plus an incredible amount of candles and flowers – turn an ordinary dinner party into an extraordinary one.’
Tags aside, Brynn’s collaboration with CB2 gives us more ways to set a table worthy of Manhattan’s social elite.
“My first choice would be the Marie Plum Coupe cocktail glasses; champions are always in order, and the coupe shape (versus fluted or stemmed) is so classic; they’re also a combination of subtle and rich colors, which is always good in every style of home,” she says.
Brynn Whitfield is a corporate communications and marketing consultant and reality TV star. She recently starred in the new series of The Real Housewives of New York City and has now teamed up with modern decor powerhouse CB2 for the holiday season.

“I would also choose this white marble tiered serving stand.” Marble goes with almost anything and everything, and the layers elevate your servingware and allow you to display your delicious little bites with pride. And finally, the Duval glass decanter – the amber bottom is simply stunning and makes any aged spirit look positively irresistible.’

“My grandmother taught me: You don’t have to have the perfect house to be the perfect host. Hosting is about what’s in your heart, not what’s in your house. Of course, we’re inclined to agree, but we also take this as a cue to pick out some new cocktail glasses, too. It’s the season after everything.
