We are an award-winning architecture firm in San Francisco, looking for an intern architect who is interested in the technical aspects of our profession and very good Revit skills. We are a 5 person firm in the North Beach neighborhood of San Francisco, with a disciplined approach to design and a very broad portfolio of projects in the field of architecture and interior architecture. If you have at least 3 years’ experience working full-time in an architectural firm, and enjoy solving problems and drawing production in Revit, we are keen to talk with you. We currently have an exciting mix of commercial, public and private sector work at all stages of development from conceptual design, construction documents, contract negotiation through to construction management. Our current portfolio of work includes a high-profile corporate project that will require us to produce robust graphic sets and custom details. Current project values ​​range from $2.5 million to $22 million in potential construction costs.

Our design approach focuses less on stylistic dogma and more on strong planning principles, incorporating natural light, landscaping and subtle detailing. Our office is involved in a variety of architectural and interior projects, from single-family homes to public buildings to larger residential and office buildings of an urban scale. We have completed numerous high-end private residences, numerous public libraries and custom commercial and institutional interiors throughout Northern California, as well as projects in New York State and Wyoming. Our work has been published in California home and design, Marine Magazine, Plain magazine, Library magazine, Architectural digest, California homes, Sunset Magazineand local newspapers.

The Job: We are looking for an Architectural Intern or newly licensed Architect with strong technical skills and good problem-solving instincts. In our small office, everyone has a variety of responsibilities and opportunities; However, your primary role will be to produce drawings in Revit, working collaboratively with the Project Manager and Director. You will produce and coordinate design and construction development documentation under the supervision of the Project Manager. If the opportunity arises, you may be able to personally manage selected small projects.

The candidate must enjoy the work Personally, in the office, in a small business environment. The successful candidate will be a well-educated, self-motivated architect who enjoys producing well-coordinated drawings. You are well organized, have excellent work habits and computer skills, and have worked for at least 3 years (ideally 3 – 5) in the US since Obtaining your professional certificate. At a minimum, a B.Arch is required. Skill in Revit is required. Skill and experience in Vectorworks and AutoCAD is a plus. Talented illustrators are always appreciated. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is also required, as well as legal status to work in the United States, (No visa seekers, please).
