‘Amistad’ star Djimon Hounsou is listing his Los Angeles property for $11,750 a month

Djimon Hounsouwho starred in “Blood Diamond” and “Gran Turismo,” is looking for a tenant for his property in Westchester, California.

For $11,750 a month, you can live in the actor’s four-bedroom, four-bathroom home, just minutes from the shops and restaurants of Playa Vista.

The “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor reportedly purchased the property, which is located just a few miles from the beach, in 2020 for $2.1 million.

Real estate is eye-catching

The mansion, built in 1990, is located on a cul-de-sac in Westport Heights. It has over 4,000 square feet of living space.

The main floor includes a great room with a wood-beamed cathedral ceiling, walls of windows, and maple flooring. A sitting area with a fireplace and stone wall surrounds the space.

To the side, you’ll find a sleek kitchen with a center island, plenty of counter space, and appliances from Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, and Bosch.

The master bedroom, also located on the first floor, has double closets, a fireplace and a spa bath. This bedroom has access to a private courtyard filled with rose bushes.

There are three additional bedrooms and two bathrooms on the upper floor. The coolest details? An internal balcony connects each room. Multiple decks are also available as well as an outdoor hot tub and BBQ facilities.

Amenities include a flex room in the basement, laundry room and two-car garage.

The Benin-born actor, 59, had a cameo as he played the title role Steven Spielberg“Amistad.” Since then, he has starred in more than 70 films, including “Gladiator,” “A Quiet Place Part II,” “Shazam!” He was nominated for several Academy Awards.
